Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Dumfries and Galloway CAMHS is an NHS specialist mental health service for children and young people up to their 18th birthday.

Our CAMHS team have expertise in the assessment, care and treatment of children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health which is having a significant impact on their day-to-day life.

Care Experienced Health & Wellbeing Team: We are a multi disciplinary health and wellbeing service for children and young people up to 18 years old who are care experienced and living in Dumfries and Galloway

Young Peoples Substance Service (Issu18): offers a welcoming, non-judgemental service to children and young people up to the age of 18 years in Dumfries and Galloway who:

Are experiencing significant problems with their own substance use.

Live or have lived in homes where substance misuse is problematic and there is significant impact on the young person.

May also have multiple complex problems, including mental health issues.

Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service For Children and Young People: Neurodevelopmental Disorders are complex and include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)
